1. Choose Your Service
   Select the appropriate ORI number based on the purpose of your background check—such as employment, licensing, or volunteering. If you're unsure which ORI to use, our staff can assist you. 
2. Complete Required Documentation
   Before your appointment, you’ll need to bring the following:
   Two (2) valid forms of identification: One must be a government-issued photo ID with your picture and signature (such as a driver’s license, state ID, or passport).The second ID can be a non-photo ID (such as a Social Security card, birth certificate, or voter registration card).
   We’ll review all documents with you to ensure accuracy and compliance before proceeding.
3. Get Fingerprinted
   Your fingerprints will be captured by a certified technician using secure, state-approved biometric Live Scan technology, with the process typically taking 10 to 15 minutes. 
4. Submission for Processing
   Once captured, your fingerprints and application data will be electronically submitted to the appropriate agency—such as the FDLE, FBI, or other state-authorized entities like AHCA, DCF, DOH, or DBPR—depending on your specific background screening requirements.
5. Receive Your Results
   Background check results are sent directly to the requesting agency or to you, depending on the ORI number and agency guidelines. Results are typically available within 24 to 72 hours; however, processing times may vary by agency.
